BMS (Building Management System

BS EN378:2016

Point Sensor

A leak detection device that monitors a specific location, such as a drip tray or sump. Unlike sensor cables, point sensors trigger an alarm when liquid touches the sensor tip.

Multi-Zone Controller

A control panel that monitors multiple leak detection zones simultaneously. Ideal for buildings with several plant rooms, risers, or HVAC systems. Allows for targeted alerts and system-wide integration.

Bunded Area

A containment zone designed to hold hazardous liquids in case of a leak or spill. Commonly used around fuel tanks, chemical storage, and generator rooms. Leak detection systems monitor bunds to prevent overflow or unnoticed leaks.
